About Big Smoke Birding...

Founder and director Magnus Andersson has been leading guided bird walks across London - a.k.a. 'Big Smoke' - for many organisations including RSPB, Flock Together, Canal & River Trust, London Wildlife Trust, Welsh Harp Conservation Group and Wildstarts, along with creating custom birding tours for both UK-based and visiting International birders.

He is also a seasoned professional photographer and picture editor. He completed his degree in Photojournalism at LCC in 2006. Combining these two passions of bird watching and photograhy led to the creation of Big Smoke Birding Ltd.

Here you can experience the magic of urban birding in the vibrant city of London and also learn the essentials of wildlife photography and its post production procedures

Kindly note:

At Big Smoke Birding Ltd we operate a SAFE and INCLUSIVE environment where our shared love of birds unites us.
